Unforgettable

We did the unthinkable.
My friends and I went to Riverfront Hotel for dinner. It was an Indonesian restaurant called Kintamani. There were 4 of us, 3 ladies and a guy. A female waitress was serving us. It was a buffet dinner and when I got up to get some food, I caught sight of a male waiter. He is the cutest waiter I have ever seen. Good looking, nice hairdo and a vey cute smile but could see that he is very young. I told my friends about him and after checking him out, they agreed that he is cute. Because earlier on before we reached the restaurant, my male friend was telling us that he saw a girl and it was love at first sight. So when I saw the waiter, I jokingly quoted my friend, I announced that, 'The moment I saw him, I fell in love with him!' My friends even though knowing that I was joking, actually chatted him up! They got my male friend to speak to him first. The waiter said that he's from Indonesia and is here for a 6 month work attachment and it was only his 5th day in Singapore. He said something about not sure how to get around and very difficult to find friends. And guess what my friends did? They asked him for his phone number! He replied that he hasn't applied for a phone yet and gave us his email address instead. He wrote it on a card and my friend passed it to me to keep. My friend sort of hinted that I am very free these few days can show him around. Luckily he wasn't very fluent in English and didn't catch what my freind was saying. Heng. Throughout the whole dinner we were discussing quite alot about him and my friend kept summoning him to our table to ask him questions. We got to know where he stays in Singaore and his work schedule. He's from Bali and he has 2 other Indo friends on work attachment too.We ate till the restuarant closed for the night. He was in the kitchen, my friend got a female waitress to call him out and she invited him and his 2 other friends to a carnival that we are going to this Saturday!!! She gave him her number and told him to contact her if they are interested. I really hoped that he will go but I am sure it is just wishful thinking.
This is the first time we 'da shan' a guy (Can't really say 'we' because I didn't open my mouth to ask him anything). Me being a very shy person was sitting on my toes throughout the whole dinner! Afraid that my friends will sabotage me. It was fun watching my friends in action and watching him smiling and attempting to answer their questions. This is a night I will never forget and an experience that I will never want to go through again.
