So empty

Haiz...there seem to be an emptiness inside my heart but I am not sure what I am missing...Life is so empty...Haiz

Recieved an sms from him today...I was in TM watching a movie...He told me to meet him in Orchard if I am free...The last time he asked me, I didn't turn up bcoz I was too tired so this time round I told myself that I must go...Very scared that his friend was going to set me up for a single date, I messaged K to ask...he replied 'I will be there, ok...dun worry'...I really love the sound of that, so reassuring. I rushed from TM to Orchard...but when I reached there, no one was there...so I gave them a call and his friend told me that K had something cropped up in the hotel so I decided to go home...when I stepped into the MRT trainat Orchard, I received a call from K and he asked me to wait and said that he would be there in 10 minutes time...so I alighted from the train and waited at Orchard Mc agian...they took awhile to arrive...
I was very shocked when he pointed to someone beside them...It was a girl!!!...I have never seen her before...but I know that she's not K's TW gf...they introduced her as their campus friend...n K told me she's his friend's good friend, wonder what he was implying...and I also wonder who is the girl's target...anyway throughout the dinner, they spoke in Bahasa Indonesia and I felt abit left out...they chatted with the girl with alot of ease... K and the girl were very comfortable together...his friend was unusally quiet and I started to speculate whether they are trying to pair me up with him!!!...but again throughout the outing, K will walk next to me and talk to me...I didn't get to talk to his friend the whole of that night so I guess they weren't trying to create opportunities for him, it was weird...I got to know the girl better though...she was young, sweet and friendly...I also found out more about K...he's a spendthrift...he bought a Sony digicam with his first pay here, it was sort of a reward to him from himself...I brought him around to look for Playstation accessories...he didn't find what he want, I guess maybe the price was too steep?...What a big spender...He seemed to notice that I was tired, he said I look kinda moody... He sorta hinted to me if I wanted to go back first so I left...I felt like a tour guide that night...felt like I was being made use of...felt lousy...not sure whether he will call again and whether I will turn up for the next date....

My Favourite Foreigners

Such a group of sweet people... Muy Kim, Phawat, Kim and Tek Long (My favourite!)... They are from Cambodia and they are all related to one another in one way or another... So fortunate to have met them... Will miss all of them when they leave...

NDP 2007

Very very lucky, my brother-in-law manage to get tix to one of the NDP rehearsals! I went with Kelvin, also an NDP enthus. It was a brand new experience. The floating stage was very nice and the seats were colourful. Love the stage lighting too. We had a great time. The only regret was we didn't get a goodie bag. But that didn't dampen our spirits! Singapore, I love you!
