That's me....

When a GIRL says ' I love you ' ... she means it.
When a GIRL says ' I miss you ' ... no one in this world can miss you more than that.

I am not sure about other girls...but that's definitely me.

Wasn't that bad afterall...

After much worrying, this day finally arrived.
His friend was funny so that sort of break the ice. We went to Cineleisure to watch Fantastic Four, a movie I have already watched but for his sake, I watched it again as there were no other action movies available. Being boys, I am sure they prefer action movies. Luckily I didn't buy tix for Pirates, he had already watched it in Bali. We went to buy popcorn, his friend chose the sweet type coz he said he has a sweet face, funny. While waiting for my friend, we sat down to have a nice chat. He told me that they had to go through an interview in order to come to Singapore for work attachment and his friend jokingly said that they were picked because they were good looking. Haha. After the movie, we brought them to Wisma's food court to show them different types of food we have in Singapore. Then we had dinner at Sakae Sushi.
I found out quite alot of things about him. He was very open. He rides the bike and like to race, he broke his leg once and almost lost it. He does boxing which I already found out from his Friendster post but I didn't tell him. He said he took up that sport to keep fit and to earn money for the trip here as he doesn't want to use his Mum's money. He doesn't like to watch scary movies. He could speak some Japanese! That's very cute, he spoke it infront of me, not bad at all, he learnt it in high school and he has a translation book which he will read when he is free. He has 3 siblings, all boys and he's the 3rd son. He said that his eldest brother is a good guy but his 2nd brother squanders money. His eldest brother is only 23. He aspires to be a manager and hopes to work in USA in the future. He has a Taiwanese girlfriend who also chatted him up when she saw him frying an egg at a restaurant in Bali, she was on holiday in Bali, but the way he put it it's like they have lost contact for a while. They keep in touch through emails. He is afraid of loneliness. He is also the adventurous sort, he likes to do sports and dares to wonder around with a map.
It was a good outing, I got to know him better, sat with him during the movie, took photos with him and got my wish of seeing his smiles again. He wore my favourite scent, throughout the whole movie I couldn't concentrate, I was smelling him. One of my ex-boyfriends used to wear that perfume too. Very sexy. Opportunity like this may not come twice but I am already contented with this one opportunity.
The outing wasn't as bad as I thought afterall...

When will I see you again.....

Oh my god...It is unbelievable! The cute Indo boy actually responded! My friend received 3 missed calls from his friend as her phone was on vibration mode. I was very frustrated because I already reminded her to check her phone constantly after 3pm as I know he has his break then. She surrendered her phone to me and at 4.30pm, he called. I thought it was his friend but the person who spoke to me from the other end of the phone is HIM! Even though he called to say that he couldn't make it tomorrow, I wasn't upset because he at least he has the decency to call us to inform, I am very happy with that. But he also told me that he is free on Sunday and Monday!...An opportunity not to be missed! But none of my friends is free on Sunday. School starts on Monday. I am so shy I wouldn't dare to go out with them alone. He told he would end work at 10pm tonight so I still have a few hours to persuade my friend before I call him again. And I finally managed to get her to go with me after much begging. We decided to ask them out for a movie. I messaged him through his friend's handphone at 10.20pm. I decided to ask him to contact me direct in case my friend blunders again. And he called me at 10.50pm to tell me that he'll be there with one of his friends! I am not hoping that this will turn into a special relationship. He is just a cute boy with a cute smile which I could not resist. Just want to see him again...one more time...
Looking forward to it.....

Reminiscence

Saw Tim today and I remembered writing 'A nice guy is hard to come by' in one of my posts before. A nice guy had come by, he's perfect, whether in looks or personality, but I am not lucky enough to have him......

Touched...

Didn't think of posting this at that time. Met a 'friend' on the bus that day, haven't seen him for a long time. He is in the army now. He loves body building. He has been doing that since he graduated from secondary school 5 years back. He is still as disciplined as ever, when I met him on the bus, he just came back from a workout. When he saw me, he pointed to his head. I was surprised to see the cap on his head. It's the one I have given to him 5 years ago when he started his body building regime! I sat down next to him, he told me that the cap is his workout cap, his motivation to keep fit. I am so touched that he actually cherish that cap, the colour has already faded but he is still wearing it. A guy who loves body building and wants to take part in ManHunt definitely cares about his image and I thought he would have thrown that old cap away long ago already. When he asked me for a cap 5 years ago, I just dug out a cap my brother was not wearing anymore to pass to him.
Sometimes we don't realise that a little small act from us could affect someone in a big way....Touched.......

Missing the Boat

Searching in the sea of love...
Yes, I may be missing some boats...
But the destinations of these boats are not where I want to dock...
No regrets...

Old Habits Are Hard to Break

Sometimes it pays to be ignorant but I think I may be too smart to be ignorant. I managed to search for him in Friendster using his email address. He was not what I thought him to be. When we spoke to him last night, he came across as a shy guy and he looked very 'mian tian'. The type of guy I like, just like my 'knight' (please read earlier post). But when I looked at the pictures he published in Friendster, I was disappointed. I am not surprised that he has a girlfriend back in Indonesia, afterall he is a very good-looking guy, even if he doesn't go after girls, throngs of girls will be after him. He is definitely very outstanding, you can easily spot him in a group picture. Then the pictures of him half-naked in different poses made me realise he's definitely not a shy guy. Sigh, it really spoils the image I had painted of him in my heart. Nevertheless I will still upload his picture into my blog. He is a first for me. Someone I wouldn't want to forget.
Ignorance is bliss......

Unforgettable

19 June 2007
We did the unthinkable.

My friends and I went to Riverfront Hotel for dinner. It was an Indonesian restaurant called Kintamani. There were 4 of us, 3 ladies and a guy. A female waitress was serving us. It was a buffet dinner and when I got up to get some food, I caught sight of a male waiter. He is the cutest waiter I have ever seen. Good looking, nice hairdo and a vey cute smile but could see that he is very young. I told my friends about him and after checking him out, they agreed that he is cute. Because earlier on before we reached the restaurant, my male friend was telling us that he saw a girl and it was love at first sight. So when I saw the waiter, I jokingly quoted my friend, I announced that, 'The moment I saw him, I fell in love with him!' My friends even though knowing that I was joking, actually chatted him up! They got my male friend to speak to him first. The waiter said that he's from Indonesia and is here for a 6 month work attachment and it was only his 5th day in Singapore. He said something about not sure how to get around and very difficult to find friends. And guess what my friends did? They asked him for his phone number! He replied that he hasn't applied for a phone yet and gave us his email address instead. He wrote it on a card and my friend passed it to me to keep. My friend sort of hinted that I am very free these few days can show him around. Luckily he wasn't very fluent in English and didn't catch what my freind was saying. Heng. Throughout the whole dinner we were discussing quite alot about him and my friend kept summoning him to our table to ask him questions. We got to know where he stays in Singaore and his work schedule. He's from Bali and he has 2 other Indo friends on work attachment too.We ate till the restuarant closed for the night. He was in the kitchen, my friend got a female waitress to call him out and she invited him and his 2 other friends to a carnival that we are going to this Saturday!!! She gave him her number and told him to contact her if they are interested. I really hoped that he will go but I am sure it is just wishful thinking.
This is the first time we 'da shan' a guy (Can't really say 'we' because I didn't open my mouth to ask him anything). Me being a very shy person was sitting on my toes throughout the whole dinner! Afraid that my friends will sabotage me. It was fun watching my friends in action and watching him smiling and attempting to answer their questions. This is a night I will never forget and an experience that I will never want to go through again.
