Sayonara...

13 December 2007

There is such thing as Fate. It was our annual December gathering with my group of friends, the group that went to Kintamani for dinner in June. We were in the car and who were to message me? It was the boys from the restaurant! K and his freinds wanted to inform me that they were heading back to Bali for good that day! I quickly asked them what time they would be leaving the hotel and arriving at the airport. They told me the flight would be at 7pm and they had to check in by 5pm. We quickly went to buy parting gifts for them from Great World City and I gave them a call. I got to speak to K and we decided that since we were running out of time, we would go straight to the airport instead of the hotel.
K messaged me to call him at another number when we reached the airport. We decided not to and went to Row 14 to look for them instead. We located them easily. K has put on weight but he is as cute as ever. Since there was time, my friend suggested going to Swenson for an ice cream. It was awkward, I didn't want to walk next to K's friend in case he got the wrong idea and I didn't want to walk next to K too because I didn't want to appear like I needed his attention.
I was seated opposite to K's friend in Swenson, he chatted with us in ease but K seemed to be a little unsettled, wonder why. During the meal, I took peeps at K's face, his eyes are beautiful, very mesmerising. Haiz. I didn't get to speak to K, I very much wanted to tell him that I had bought a Sony digicam too but I just couldn't bring myself to open my mouth. After that we headed back to T1 to take a picture with them. I could hear K exclaiming to no one in particular that we both have Sony digicams but I pretended not hear it. While I was telling a lady how to use my digicam, I could see from the corner of my eyes they were busy arranging positions and true enough, K ended up standing next to me (Haiz, my friends, the bridges). While standing next to him, my malfunction nose suddenly could pick up his perfume, so familiar. Sigh, I would never forget his smell. After hearing his friend playing guitar and singing a song, we bade farewell to them.
They are nice boys but because of some complications, we didn't get to meet up more and get to know each other better. Such a waste. If it is really fated, maybe we will meet again...

Living Without Regrets!

8 December 2007

Learn from your mistake...We left early for IMM so as to secure us a good spot for today's 星光四少PK赛. We reached IMM around 8.30am whilst the event would start at 12.30pm! When we alighted from the taxi, we saw a guy in purple T-shirt alighting from the taxi behind us. We could recognise him as he attended yesterday's event. He smiled at us so I guessed he could recognise us too. We thought that the mall would be closed and we would have to queue outside but the doors were actually opened! We followed him in and we walked to the event area. It was much smaller than Bugis and there was no one there! Yippee! But they had blocked the barricade for the queue, we couldn't get in. Then a group of girls arrived and told the purple guy that the queue was actually outside! No wonder the place was so empty, the fan club would always be early to make sure that they are first in the line. We quickly walked out of the building and joined the queue, luckily we were like the 30th person there so we should be able to get a good spot. We sat down and waited and waited. Finally at 11am, they let us in. They sent us in in batches of 10 to make sure no one cut queue. The gap between the barricade was huge, we decided to stick near to the second row barricade so that if the people in front of us blocked us, we could still climb on the barricade to get a good view. So we were like in the 4th row in front of the stage! When the event started at 12.30pm, it was actually some contestants PKing amongst themselves first so that they can select 4 to PK the 星光四少. Chey...had to wait some more! Finally they arrived about an hour later! We were very close so again I managed to shoot some nice video clips! Today with other singers competing with them, 星光四少put in extra effort in their singing and they did well! Better than the day before. Judy is really very cute, he kept posing for the fans after he had finished singing while sitting at the judges' table. His 咪咪眼and his cute smile really pulls at your heart! Hehe! After the competition was over, it was autograph session again! So lucky! I cannot live in regrets, I forgo it yesterday, I MUST go up and get their autographs but most important of all, I wanted to get up close and personal and shake their hands! This may be a once in a lifetime chance. I joined the queue and went up. Judy was the first one to sign, I shook his hand and said 你好棒to his smiling face. SO....CUTE! They passed the lyrics book very quickly down the row, I didn't care, I must make sure I shook everyone's hands. Then it was Stanly and Yoga. Peter had already signed my lyrics book and his head was bent, signing the next two behind me but I waited patiently for him to raise his head and hold out his hand. Peter being left-handed had to shake with his right hand (as I had observed the day before), I didn't change hand and purposely used my left hand to hold his hand and I held it tight! Like holding a boyfriend's hand! Haha! Everything happened so quickly, everything was like a whirl, I couldn't really remember much.
Star chasing is fun but tiring. One can only do that if you have alot of free time to spend as it is very very time consuming. Anyway I have no regrets being crazy and busying myself with my Judy and Peter for these past three days. It was a great experience. No regrets! But I will miss them...

等待是值得的

7 December 2007

Woke up with an unsure feeling whether I should leave for Bugis at 2pm for 星光四少签唱会 which was to start at 7pm. Judging from the crowd at the airport yesterday, I thought it would be safe to arrive slightly after 3pm. But shockingly many fans were already there. The barricade that was set up for us to queue was already fully occupied, we had to queue all the way to the fountain area and that would mean that when they are performing, I won't be able to see them! I decided to forgo their autographs and stood behind the barricade which still give us quite a good view of them. We started waiting from 4pm. Then it started to drizzle and then it poured!!! I stood in the rain under my little umbrella for an hour! I was very tempted to give up and leave my good spot for shelter but TML messaged me asking me to perservere. She said 等待是值得的. Finally the rain relented but my shoes and socks were soaked through. After standing for 3 hours, around 6pm the crowd increased and finally 7pm came. They were quite punctual. Each of them sang two songs. Their voices weren't in tip-top condition, quite disappointing. The only one that was good that day was Stanly. Judy was fantastic with his dance moves! He's actually very cute in person, he smiles alot, poses alot, very steady. Yoga is very cheeky and playful. Cute. As for Peter, the usual quiet and boring self but I still like him! I think the number of fans each of them have is almost equal but I frequently hear screams for Judy and surprisingly, Stanly. Stanly is good-looking and very photogenic. Maybe they interacted more with the crowd, that's why more well-liked? The place was packed with people and when the autograph session started, I managed to squeeze my way through the crowd to the side of the stage near Starbucks. I got a very close up view of them! So happy! I decided to wait till the autograph session is over to take a good picture of them when they stood up to leave. It was a good move! I managed to get a good video clip of them! But the queue was super long! They actually started signing at 8pm and ended at 9.45pm. Their hands must be very tired. Oh and we noticed that Peter is actually left-handed! Their fan club came and stood beside us and standing screaming their names. Very ear-piercing but they also aided in helping me to get a good video clip. Hehe! 等待是really值得的. But I left the place with a little regret for not getting their autographs...

Fanatic Fan!!!

6 December 2007

I decided to be a fanatic fan for a day...I actually went to the airport ALONE at 12.05pm today to await the arrival of 星光四少 from Taiwan! They are 潘裕文 Peter Pan my favourite,周定炜 Judy my favourite too,林宥嘉 Yoga and 许仁杰 Stanly. They were on flight BR225 from Taipei. Saw some crowd there, about a hundred over, I continued to wait patiently. Finally they appeared at the luggage belt 22. I spotted Judy first as he was tall so very outstanding, then I saw Yoga and Stanly. Finally my favourite Peter appeared next to them after some time. Judy was very good, he was the one who took the luggage from the belt. All of them were quite stylish and what really shocked me was Peter wearing a bright turqouise jacket with furred hood! The jacket was pretty attention-seeking, so unlike him to wear something like that, all these while I thought that he was a low profile guy. But it does make him look like a star, as he was wearing a hat too because of the crew-cut he got for serving 12 days of NS. He removed the jacket after a while as our weather is too hot for it! They took some time discussing stuff before they finally made their way out. I was very near the sliding doors so I had a good look at them. They have very nice and fair complexion! So jealous! They are better-looking in person than on TV. Peter didn't look that great though, maybe it was due to his haircut. They took a group picture with the fans standing behing them and left hurriedly. I wasn't fanatic enough to chase them to their awaiting van. It was still a great experience! Can't wait to see them again during the next two events...
